This week I am unveiling the importance of hiring a quality personal trainer when you're struggling with your health and fitness goals If you missed part 1 click here. It's a must-read.
The fitness industry is a minefield. It's full of information. But the majority of it is useless and in most circumstances will do you more harm than good. So I am here to cut through the BS and to give you no-nonsense tips to help you succeed.
Today I want to talk about the importance of accountability.
How many times have you wanted to lose weight? How many times have you started but after a few days you just gave up?
Sometimes we just need a little accountability to break the camel's back. And finally, succeed.
In the early stages of a fitness journey, it's hard to build good habits that will last a lifetime. Let's be honest, if it were easy everyone would look like a million dollars.
I've been a very successful mobile personal trainer in Sevenoaks for over 10 years. I'm the one knocking at my client's door a 6 am encouraging them to get their trainers on a to get moving.
During my experience as a personal trainer, my clients have found that simply having me knocking at their door was enough to switch them from not training to have one of their greatest training sessions.
With all of us leading a busy life it's easy to blow out the most important thing in life and that's your health. If you're not fit and healthy how do you expect to look after others to your maximum capacity?
It doesn't just stop at me knocking at your door. Each session I help my clients plan for the next week. This can be via my brilliant nutritional advice, my online training programs and delicious recipes. During our sessions especially during breaks and stretching, I'll ask simple but affective questions such as, what have you eaten in the last couple of days and catching up on food diaries if needs be. This keeps them honest when I'm not with them.
Keeping my clients health at the forefront of their minds is critical to their success. Breaking the old bad habit cycle with them knowing that I'll be there checking up on them, encouraging them and giving them guidance, when needed, holds them in good stead for long-term weight loss and peak health.
Yes, it's hard at the start but once my clients start to see the benefit of seeing me on a regular basis they know that health is the most important wealth. It's their foundation for a happy healthy future. And it all starts with a knock on their door.
On that note, I am pleased to say my diary has finally opened up for Sevenoaks.
